Hemp is a complex natural product with hundreds of compounds that can cause chromatographic interference in the analysis of terpenes. Accurately quantifying terpenes can prove to be challenging unless you have the right methodology and equipment. The answer is Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Testing for terpenes with GC/MS identifies the molecular “fingerprint” of each solvent and gives Agricor Laboratories the most defendable data in cannabis testing.
